Our Mission
We built Studio One11 to be the resource we wished existed, a place where designers could bring their ideas, get real support, and see their vision come to life from start to finish. As one of the only studios in NYC offering every stage under one roof, we make the process smoother, more transparent, and more human.
We welcome brands of all sizes, from established labels to those just starting out. Helping new designers break into the industry and launch their first collections is something we truly take pride in.
Sustainability & Ethics
The fashion industry is responsible for up to 10% of global carbon emissions, this is more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined¹ . In addition, around 85% of all textiles end up in landfills or are incinerated each year, due to over production². It is clear that the fashion industry has a major impact on the planet and we don’t want to add to the problem. Our goal is to create product thoughtfully, work mindfully, and make sure everything we do has purpose behind it.
An estimated 60–75 million people work in the global garment industry and most are women aged 18–35. Many garment workers in developing countries earn less than $3 a day and often work in unsafe conditions³. It’s important to us that everyone involved in our process is respected, paid fairly, and treated with care. We diligently choose partners and suppliers who share our values: commitment to ethical practices and reducing their impact on the planet.
These same values also apply in-house and are put to practice every day. By working digitally, from initial patterns to 3D mockups, we minimize waste and bring ideas to life faster, with more accuracy and less excess. This approach allows us to test, refine, and perfect each design before sampling even begins - saving time, resources, and unnecessary material waste. Studies have shown that digital design and 3D prototyping can reduce fabric waste by up to 30% in sample development⁴.
